It all began in 1969, on April 12th, a brown baby girl was born and given the name, Michelle Deloris Waddy. My mother tells me that I was born under delicate circumstances, she was in a car accident and although I stayed in her belly (per her command, of course) I needed special care when the big arrival day came. This bit of information tells you a lot about me (MichelleDeloris) and my Mother(s)/Father(s).
"DO WHAT YOU WANT TO DO, DAUGHTER, BUT DO WHAT I TELL YOU TO DO" and you will be alright.
I spent several years with my Aunt and Uncle in New York until the age of 5. My mother had to travel to New Rochelle to pick me up and head back to Virginia to start kindergarten. The teachers were impressed with me, I had to work extra hard in some areas but best of all I developed AN EMPIRE STATE OF MIND.....

It had a very profound effect on me ....I didn't know if I could go on or not. It was difficult but I kept busy and set in my mind to complete the things that I promised my Grandmother that I would. Again, Patricia, traveled to pick me up and take me back home.

So, we went to the courthouse in our county and tied the knot...only to find out that we were not old enough to get married all the way. However, we were married enough where neither one of us could marry anyone else. So, it was Charles & Michelle, forever??? We had to do some things on our own (get educated) and we were not old enough to get an apartment by ourselves...plus we each had to set our business up ....on our own...It took a long time! ....and YES, there were plenty of BLURRED LINES!
